EARTH Workshop – New Brunswick, NJ
Ms. Sutton traveled to Rutgers University for a 1-week workshop focused on Polar Science. Several scientists presented their research and data during the workshop as participating teachers synthesized the information into classroom activities to share with their students. The workshop also included tours of the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory and the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.
Funding for EARTH 2015 is provided by MBARI and the Rutgers University’s Polar Interdisciplinary Coordinated Education (Polar-ICE).
